Work Location: Fortescue''s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.Roster: 4D/3R - Residential - Port HedlandFortescue is seeking an experienced Senior Marine Scheduler to lead marine and shipping scheduling across our Port Hedland operations.Reporting to the Marine Operations Supervisor, this role is responsible for optimising vessel movements, berth allocation and marine services to ensure safe, efficient and compliant port operations. You''ll lead a team of Marine Schedulers and work closely with internal stakeholders, Pilbara Ports Authority, marine contractors, vessel masters and agents in a fastpaced, highthroughput environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead endtoend marine and shipping scheduling across port operationsDevelop and manage short to mediumterm vessel schedulesCoordinate with port authorities VTSO, towage and marine service providersAbility to provide coverage for the marine scheduling function when requiredManage schedule integrity, disruptions, delays and operational constraintsDrive performance improvement across vessel turnaround and berth utilisationChampion safety, compliance and riskbased decisionmakingQualifications and ExperienceExperience in marine, towage or shipping scheduling (bulk commodities preferred)Proven people leadership and stakeholder coordination skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong understanding of berth allocation, tidal windows and port constraintsAbility to make timecritical decisions in a 24/7 operational environmentMSIC (or ability to obtain) and C Class driver''s licenceAbout UsBe part of something big.
