About You We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service with a positive and professional approach and have the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You Will Have Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with a diverse community and resolve issues efficiently. Ability to thrive in a busy environment and prioritise tasks while maintaining a positive, courteous and helpful attitude. Proven experience in handling administrative tasks and operating office systems and equipment such as a multi-line telephone system, information / records databases, MS Office applications and photocopier / scanner. About The Role This is a casual position, and we expect there will be 2 days'' work per week with the possibility of more hours covering leave. The role provides effective and efficient Customer Service and Administration support to the Indigo Shire Council community and employees across all Customer Service hubs within Indigo Shire. The role involves managing communications, maintaining records, and contributing to the overall customer experience. In This Role You Will Answer incoming phone calls in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner. Assist with basic customer service and administration duties as required. Provide cashier services and ensure daily banking is completed and reconciled.
