Multi Skilled Plant Operator (Excavator, Skid Steer, Roller, Grader)$72,807 pa + 12% super + a 9 day fortnightLocation: Narangba Overview In this Multi Skilled Operator position, your primary responsibility will be to operate a variety of machinery on a daily basis. You''ll work across a range of teams, interchanging with on-site equipment where appropriately trained and licensed to undertake Roads and Drains related maintenance work. Responsibilities Operating a range of machines and equipment including trucks, excavators, rollers, skid steers and graders Operating additional plant and equipment as needed, within your licensed scope of work Conducting daily pre-start inspections on relevant plant and equipment Reporting any defects, safety concerns or issues related to the machinery or ongoing projects This role requires a flexible approach to equipment operation and a commitment to safety protocols. You''ll be an integral part of the team maintaining Council''s civil transport infrastructure, with a focus on roads and drains. Qualifications Current truck licence (minimum HC - heavy combination class) Construction Induction Card At least two of the following competencies: Excavator (LE), Skid Steer (LS), Grader (LG) Preferred Experience Ideally your application will demonstrate previous experience operating a range of medium plant equipment used in civil construction or maintenance activities, with emphasis on excavators, skid steers and rollers.
