Our benefits offer you access to deals, support and discounts to help you unlock theimportant things in Life Health, Family, Recreation and Your Future with MinRes.About the OpportunityMinRes is seeking an experienced Mining Supervisor to join one of our owner operated Iron Ore sites at our Onslow Iron Project on a 8 days on / 6 days off / 7 nights on / 7 days off roster (8/6 7/7).Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will guide, mentor, and lead a crew of up to 40 operators to reach our production targets safely and on time.Overseeing and managing our assets, including people, plant, and equipment, to achieve operational outcomes in safety, quality, performance, efficiency, and costConducting regular site inspections and daily interactions with the workforceProviding technical and practical support to operatorsEnsuring team output and KPIs are on track, in line with Company objectivesMaintaining and fostering a working environment that prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding serviceWhat is required?Minimum 5 years experience working within a Mining and Production EnvironmentDemonstrated 2 years supervisory experience in an open pit environmentHold a Section 44 and Statutory Schedule 26 or working towards sitting the examAbility to identify continuous improvement initiativesStrong focus on safety and fostering a zero harm cultureQuarry Manager certificate (desirable)About Mineral Resources (MinRes)MinRes is a leading diversified resources company with extensive operations in lithium, iron ore, energy and mining services across Western Australia.
