Bring your passion for well-being to our close-knit community, fostering a warm and supportive environment for our residents.In this role, you''ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality care. Your fortnightly roster will be as below:Week 1: Saturday (1430 - 2230) & Sunday (1430 - 2230)Week 2: Saturday (1430 - 2230) & Sunday (1430 - 2230)Your responsibilities and duties will include:Assist residents with personal care, including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming and other activities of daily livingUndertaking medication management and treatment procedures as directed by the Residential Site Manager or person in chargeAssist in formal assessment processes and contribute to individual plans of careLiaising with medical practitioners, pharmacists and other health services to provide relevant services for the care and wellbeing of the residentsProvide complex care, such as wound management and palliative careAssisting the RN1 with clinical requirements of residentsAssisting in the implementation of cigarette and alcohol programsObserving and reporting changes in residents behaviour or physical condition and maintain appropriate documentation as requiredAttend appointments with residents as requiredProviding emotional support to residents.We are looking for candidates with the following:Ability to work both in team and autonomouslyCert IV/Diploma of Nursing (with current AHPRA Registration)Prior experience in housing & homelessness support, aged care, welfare, disability support, mental health or community/home careThe ability to enhance or maintain our residents independence and lifestyleA friendly and non-judgmental attitudeThis sounds great!
