Security Manager - Assets, Contracts and Emergency Management Level 1M/40, 44 Driver Ave, Moore Park NSW 2021, Australia Posted Wednesday 4 February 2026 at 5:00 am Venues NSW is a commerically focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres host in excess of 5 million people a year at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy. Venues NSW takes an intergrated approach to our stadia and entertainment centres by developing partnerships with sporting codes, the entertainment and event industry, audiences, local businesses, NSW Government agencies and community groups. About the Role The Security Manager Assets, Contracts & Emergency Management provides strategic oversight of security infrastructure, contracted security services, and emergency management preparedness across venue operations. The role ensures that security systems, external providers, and emergency response frameworks are effective, compliant, and aligned with organisational safety, resilience, and risk objectives. The role leads the end-to-end management of venue security assets, security service contracts, and emergency preparedness arrangements, ensuring systems, documentation, and services are maintained, compliant, and fit for purpose. It drives security technology enhancements, manages contractor performance and procurement activities, supports the development, review, and testing of Emergency Management Plans, and provides specialist advice for major events, incidents, and crowd safety operations. The role maintains strong governance and legislative compliance, oversees critical records and reporting, collaborates closely with emergency services and government stakeholders, and delivers continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen patron safety, operational resilience, and long-term security strategy. About You You will have at least 3 years of operational experience, with demonstrated leadership and security planning skills. You will have a natural ability to create strong rapport with internal and external stakeholders, driving the Venues NSW''s values and strategies. Cert IV in Security Risk Management Valid Security License Class 1AE and 2A (2A is highly desirable for this role) Understanding of relevant legislation, including but not limited to the NSW Security Industry Act, Liquor Act, the Inclosed Lands Protection Act, Sporting Venues Authorities Act and associated regulations.
