Community Support Worker - In Home Aged CareGenerous New Pay Rates! $29.71 - $33.51 per hour + SuperFlexible start & finish times - choose your own hours!Significant training & support providedThe Position:We are currently recruiting passionate and caring individuals who are looking to make a difference in our Aged Care clients lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible.You do not need to have any previous experience to apply for this role, we will teach you everything!You will be travelling through the Newcastle region & will need to have some availability during weekdays Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm. (Preferably 2-5 days)About the Role:Provide quality personalised care to our valued aged care clients in their own homes through services such as:General household tasks such as vacuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning bathroom & kitchen, changing beds, hanging up washing etcPersonal care such as showering, dressing, grooming and toiletingMeal preparationSocial SupportRespiteTransport to appointments and shopping etcRequirements for the role:An Australian driver''s licence and a reliable insured motor vehicle is essentialReliability and compassion for the elderlyStrong communication skills and a positive attitudeCertificate III in Aged Care or equivalent - advantage but not essential, you can complete this through our traineeship programPrevious experience as a Home Care Worker will be highly regarded but not requiredEvidence of Flu & Covid vaccinationsHour rate + 11% Super + Km Reimburse (92cents per KM) + Paid travel timeAccess to annual leave, sick leave & long service leaveAccess to Not For Profit Salary packaging (Tax benefits that increase your take home pay)Certificate 3 in Individual Support & First Aid & CPR certificates at no cost to you!Values-based organisation, we employ people of all faithsVisit the same clients each weekWork independently with team supportAbout us:Catholic Healthcare promotes the dignity, life and spirituality of older people through connected and inclusive communities across residential aged care, home and community services and retirement living across NSW and SE QLD.
