Your Opportunity Located in Robertson, Triple Care Farm is a Mission Australia residential Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) withdrawal, rehabilitation, and treatment program for young people between 16-24 years. Your role will provide holistic nursing care support to young people who are either withdrawing from drugs and / or alcohol dependence in a safe and supported environment. You will be assisting in a plan of care under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse. You will work Day / Afternoon and active overnight in a shift work / rostered environment. Your key responsibilities will be to: Provide assistance to the nursing team as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN) Ensure care activities to Residents in accordance with the nursing care plan Learn how to care for residents through the guidance of the Registered Nurse Collect accurate health care information to maintain documentation records Communicate effectively with Residents and other health care team members Requirements for Success Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or currently studying final year of nursing You will have a passion for helping young people in AOD NSW Drivers License and current First Aid Certificate Three years experience in the AOD field is desirable only Familiarity with and confidence in working within a harm minimisation framework Evidence of full Covid-19 vaccination Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children / vulnerable people.
