OverviewWomen and Newborn Health Service 2026 Medical IntakeSenior Registrar - Obstetrics & GynaecologyThis is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time appointments for 6-12 months with the possibility of extension(s).Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/01/2027.Position ProfileKing Edward Memorial Hospital is seeking suitable applications from experienced doctors for Senior Obstetrics & Gynaecology Registrars. In this role you will provide elective and emergency clinical Obstetrics and Gynaecology service including Labour and Birth Suite; participate in teaching and research programs.Area ProfileThe Women and Newborn Health Service provides clinical care to women and families. It comprises King Edward Memorial Hospital, the Maternity Unit at Osborne Park Hospital and other specialist health services.The Women and Newborn Services at Osborne Park Hospital merged with WNHS in 2020. The new service became part of the overall Women and Newborn Health Service. The merging of the two services created a synergy for womens healthcare options, encouraging greater opportunity for cross-site communication and collaboration.
