Founded as a family business, we have grown into a highly respected organisation built on expertise, trust, safety and strong values.As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a HR Manager to lead our people function and partner closely with the General Manager and senior leaders to shape a high-performance, values-led workforce.The RoleReporting directly to the General Manager, this is a senior leadership role with direct reports and state based accountability for people, culture, industrial relations and workforce strategy.You will lead the Human Resources function and act as a trusted advisor to executive and operational leaders across corporate, project and site-based environments. This role is critical in enabling safe, compliant and high-performing teams in a complex, project-driven construction business.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute the Human Resources strategy aligned to business objectives, project pipelines and growth plansBuild and develop a high-performing Human Resources team through strong leadership, coaching and accountabilityPartner with leaders on workforce planning, succession, and capability forecastingProvide senior-level leadership and coaching across employee relations, industrial relations and case managementDrive leadership capability, performance management and accountability frameworks across all levelsEnsure compliance with Fair Work, WHS, psychosocial risk and employment legislationLead organisational development, engagement and culture initiativesManage people aspects of organisational change, growth and transformationOversee HR systems, workforce analytics and reporting to support executive decision-makingChampion wellbeing, mental health and psychosocial safety in high-risk and remote environmentsAbout YouYoure a confident, credible and pragmatic HR leader who thrives in complex, operational environments.
