KHG is a group of companies Civil Construction, Mechanical Maintenance and shutdown, SMP and plant & equipment working throughout regional WA (Bunbury, Pilbara, mid-west, wheatbelt). We currently have 200 employees over 9 worksite. Our work packages include dayworks/labour hire, various construction project and 3 year maintenance package. This role will be looking after all Group HSEQ requirements including implementing and maintaining HSEQ management systems, maintaining ISO certification, providing HSE support to site HSE teams, Monthly HSE reporting to Senior Management. This role is based in our Perth Head office in Osborne Park with bi-weekly travel to our various projects. Responsibilities: Managing of Management Systems including policies, procedures and other system documents to ensure they remain current and meet the requirements of the relevant AS/NZS and ISO standard; Maintain, coordination and completion of ISO9001 / ISO14001 / ISO45001 audits and support operational teams with any external audits; Coordinate certification and surveillance audits by certifying body and ensure that any non-conformances and other audit outcomes are addressed as a priority; Liaise with relevant managers and supervisors to ensure documents are updated as needed; Ensure an internal audit program is implemented; Conducting internal HSEQ audits; Provide coaching, mentoring and support to action owners, and provide authoritative advice on the close out of actions; Ensure HSEQ information published to the company server remains current; Oversee the HSEQ system for reporting incidents and hazards and for capturing training records; Development and completion of HS&E Statutory Health, Safety and Environment Compliance audits and site safety inspections; Identify and understand the health, safety, environmental & associated legal requirements that are relevant to the work and ensure the teams comply with these. Help the teams understand and actively promote issues regarding health, safety & the environment; To support and where necessary, lead accident and incident investigation, utilising root cause analysis and provide advice to Operational teams on effective preventative measures to reduce risk; Deliver presentations to Operational Management Teams giving insight into performance, risk management and initiatives relevant to areas within the company; To provide concise, factual and accurate information through status reports to the Strategic Lead for H&S, ensuring all information is available to enable effective decisions and improvements to be made; All other duties as directed by director. Requirements: 2+ years experience in HSEQ Manager role or Senior HSE Advisor looking to step into a Management role; 5 + years experience in Mining or Construction industry; Implementing and maintaining HSEQ management systems; Implementation and maintaining ISO certification; Work Health and Safety (required); Training and Assessment (desirable); Drivers Licence (required); White Card (required).
