Job Description

Program Director ASAP Start NSW Government organisation Sydney CBD+WFH (hybrid)$1250 per day+super. Manage a whole of government contract. Key Accountabilities Provide authoritative wholeofprogram oversight during postimplementation stabilisation, maintaining a consolidated view of performance, risks, issues, dependencies and remediation across both insourced and contracted cleaning service delivery models. Design, establish and embed an integrated program governance and control environment, including program planning, operational controls, risk and issue management, dependency management, decision tracking, escalation pathways, assurance and executive reporting, to enable disciplined BAU oversight. Establish clear, consistent and enduring data structures and management processes, replacing fragmented and manual data handling, to create a reliable single source of truth that underpins comprehensive reporting, assurance and decision-making. Replace manual and ad hoc reporting, tracking and issueresolution processes with systemenabled controls, establishing fitforpurpose data structures and processes that support effective operational management and executive decisionmaking. Deliver a workforce management system to support workforce planning, rostering, coverage, performance monitoring and contractor oversight. Establish and embed a sustainable Program Delivery Office (PDO) operating model under the Executive Director, aligned to the two supporting business/programs, with clear roles, governance cadence and artefacts that endure beyond the engagement. Ensure delivery and embedment of complete, reusable program artefacts, including program plans, governance packs, operational controls, risk and dependency registers, decision logs, dashboards and operational playbooks, leaving the directorate with a coherent and enduring program management framework. Desired Skills Demonstrated experience establishing enterprisegrade data and reporting environments for large operational programs, including defining data standards, governance and singlesourceoftruth reporting for executive and centralagency use. Handson experience implementing workforce management, rostering or scheduling systems for large, distributed workforces, including integration with HR, payroll or contractor management platforms. Strong understanding of operational change and adoption, including embedding new systems and ways of working into frontline and corporate teams.
