The Senior Security Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping the security posture of IFM through strategic planning, policy development, and high-level decision-making. This role is instrumental in governance, risk management, and providing expert advisory services to ensure robust security measures are integrated across all facets of IFM.Key Responsibilities:As a Senior Security Analyst Technology, you will safeguard and support the organisation''scyber andtechnology systems.Key responsibilities include:Monitoring networks, servers, endpoints and cloud platforms toidentify, prevent,detectand respond to cyber security threats and incidents. Conducting in-depth forensic analysis of security logs and network activities toidentifyand mitigate potential threatsidentifiedwithin Sentinel, assigned from Fusion, Defender, Varonis, Performing risk assessments and gap analyses toidentifyvulnerabilities and recommendingappropriate mitigationstrategies. Liaising with business partners to understand their security needs andensuringsecurity measures align with businessobjectives. Serving as a Subject Matter Expert in information security, providing guidance on security best practices and emerging threats. Evaluating and recommending security solutions to enhance the IFM''s defence mechanisms. Leading incident handling efforts to swiftly respond to and recover from security incidents. Liaising with security vendors and keeping abreast of their technology roadmaps. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives through automation, innovation, process enhancement,documentationand user training.Your Background and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will bring a strong mix of technical capability, operationalexperienceand stakeholder engagement skills, including:Proven experience providingcloudsecurity support within a complex enterprise or financial services environment. Solid hands-on experience supporting and securing Microsoft technologies, including Windows operating systems, servers, Active Directory,Azureand cloudrelatedtechnology. Working knowledge of cyber security principles across identification, prevention, detection,responseand recovery, ideally supported by exposure to recognised frameworks such as NIST. Experienceoperating,monitoringor supporting security technologies such as endpoint protection, firewalls, email and web security, and log monitoring solutions. Demonstrated experience investigating incidents, performing root causeanalysisand resolving operational or security issues intimecritical environments. Exposure to vulnerability assessments, securityreviewsor audits, with the ability toidentifyrisks and contribute to practical mitigation strategies. Confidence engaging directly with internal stakeholders, businessusersand external vendors to deliver effective outcomes. Welldevelopedwritten and verbal communication skills, including experience documenting procedures,controlsor technical processes. Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, cyber security or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
