Job Description Summary:We are seeking ideal candidates as a Farm Manager who should have detailed knowledge of farming and should be a self-starter and highly driven. Primary responsibility of this job is to provide leadership and direction in the production and maintenance operations to ensure timely and cost efficient production. The Breeder Farm Manager is actively involved in daily farm operations, while also maintaining full accountability for flock performance, staff leadership, welfare, biosecurity, resources and budget management.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Providing strong and supportive leadership ensuring talent development in alignment with company compliance standardsEnsuring high bird welfare and biosecurity in accordance with company policiesLiaising with the Wellington Complex Manager on bodyweight profiles and feed rate adjustmentsOptimising flock performance and identifying corrective actions for deviations from standardsPromoting Health & Safety through training, regular discussions, and compliance monitoringWhat We Need From YouTo qualify, you will need ahigh level of poultry knowledge and a proven record of leadership and management.
