Your leadership will bring structure, consistency and trust to a passionate team seeking long term stability.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Leading a passionate team of educators and supporting their developmentDesigning and delivering inclusive, child-led programs aligned with the NQFManaging daily operations, administration, compliance and reportingBuilding strong relationships with families, schools, and stakeholdersPlanning weekly programs, activities and nutritional menusManaging rostering, budgets, and OH&S standardsUpholding Child Safe Standards and fostering a positive behaviour approachSupporting children with trauma, neurodiverse needs, and diverse backgroundsTo read the full position description, click here.Here''s What We''re Looking ForTo be considered, you''ll need a Diploma level qualification(or a willingness to enrol) or higher, along with at least 2 years of leadership experience working with children in OSHC, childcare, education, youth work, or trauma informed environments. Avalid paid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) is also essential.If you''re not yet qualified, TheirCare will support your enrolment in the Diploma of School Age Education and Care to help you meet OSHC leadership requirements (applicable to Australian citizens only, those looking for sponsorship will require a Diploma qualification).Additionally, the following qualifications or experience will be highly valued:HLTAID012 - First Aid in a Childcare Setting (or willingness to complete)HLTAID009 - CPRCHCPRT025 - Identify and respond Children and Young People at RiskMandatory Reporting CertificateFood Safety CertificatesRecent National Criminal History Check (within 6 months)Experience with trauma-informed care, disability support or neurodivergent childrenStrong understanding of NQF, EYLF, MTOP frameworks and child-led learningAs our ideal candidate you are confident, resilient, and lead with empathy.
