About the Business Haymarket Bakery Cafe is a busy and well-established bakery caf located in Market City Shopping Centre in Sydneys CBD. They are known for producing fresh, high- quality baked goods and servicing a diverse and high-volume customer base. About the Role They are seeking a skilled and reliable Baker to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily preparation and baking of a range of bakery products while ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and compliance with food safety standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare, bake, and finish bread, pastries, and other bakery products Follow established recipes and daily production schedules Operate bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, and provers Monitor baking processes to ensure correct temperature, timing, and product quality Maintain high standards of product quality, taste, and presentation Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of work areas in accordance with food safety and WHS requirements Assist with stock control, storage, and minimisation of waste Work collaboratively with other kitchen and caf staff Skills and Experience Required Relevant qualification in Baking (Certificate III in Baking or equivalent preferred) Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a commercial bakery environment Strong knowledge of baking techniques and production processes Understanding of Australian food safety and workplace health and safety standards Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment What Is On Offer Competitive salary of $78,000 superannuation Stable, full-time employment Supportive team environment Central CBD location with excellent public transport access How to Apply If you are passionate about baking and looking to join a dynamic and growing business, we would love to hear from you.
