Job Description About the Role Werelooking for an experienced and inspiring leader to join our team asHead of Programs and Engagement (Victoria). Thisexcitingpositionis part of our national team of Heads of Programs andEngagement and leads ateam of lawyers responsible for delivering Leo CussensGraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP)and other professional legal education programsin Victoria.Youlloversee program delivery, strengthen professional partnerships, and contribute to our national growth and reputation as a leader in legal education. Key Responsibilities Lead and developateam of lawyers to ensureprogram delivery aligns with strategic goals. Manage delivery of the GDLP and other legal education programsin Victoria. Strengthen stakeholder and professional relationships. Collaborate with colleagues nationally to support business development and strategic initiatives. Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and quality assurance in program delivery. Manage budgets, resources, and operational priorities effectively. Desired Skills and Experience About You Yourean experienced lawyer and leader with strong people and projectmanagement skills, ideally with a background in legal education, professional training, or the broader higher education sector. Youllbring: Proven experience leading high-performing teams. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. Strategic thinking and the ability to translate ideas into action. Sound financial and operational management skills. A collaborative and values-driven leadership style. Willingness to travel primarily within Victoria to reach potential markets. Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Law (essential). Admission (or eligibility for admission) to practice as an Australian Legal Practitioner (essential). Postgraduate qualification in Education, Business, Leadership, or Management (desirable). Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (desirable).
