Overview Head of Sales Performance & Operations MercedesBenz New Zealand Newmarket, Auckland MercedesBenz New Zealand is seeking an experienced and motivated leader to head our Sales Performance & Operations function. This fulltime, permanent role sits within our highperforming Sales team and plays a critical part in delivering an exceptional endtoend customer experience. Based at our Newmarket Head Office, you will work closely with internal teams, Agents, and global stakeholders to optimize planning, ordering, logistics, and reporting across our passenger car portfolio. You will lead a team responsible for driving operational excellence, market insights, and sales performance outcomes. Key Responsibilities Maximise sales through agent KPI performance management & steering Optimise sales performance through proactive volume, stock, and production planning, identifying risks and opportunities in line with market demand. Oversee lifecycle management, supporting model introductions and runouts. Manage group and dealer stock levels to ensure optimal availability and age profile. Deliver highquality reporting to support local strategic & operational planning and meet global requirements. Lead dealer target setting and contribute to broader sales strategy. Provide strong leadership, coaching, and development to the Sales Performance & Operations team. Collaborate with MercedesBenz AG and internal departments on sales & operational topics. About You 5+ years experience in automotive wholesale or retail sales, customer service, or a related field. Leadership experience within a global organisation is essential. Strong understanding of the automotive industry and NZ market. Familiarity with planning and reporting tools; SAP experience preferred. Exceptional communication, relationshipbuilding, and problemsolving skills. Confident presenter with strong commercial acumen. Tertiary qualification in Business (preferred) or equivalent experience.
