Overview Data Architect - Azure (Financial Services) Melbourne $180k-$200k + super 4 days onsite Were partnering with a growing investment management / financial services business thats making a significant investment in its technology environment. This is a hands-on Data Architect role for someone who enjoys building and owning data platforms, not just designing them. Youll play a key role in shaping and scaling the organisations Azure-based data capability during a period of growth. What youll be doing Owning and evolving the Azure data architecture across core financial and investment systems Designing and building data models, pipelines, integrations, and lakehouse solutions Supporting complex financial and investment data flows Leading data migrations and platform uplift initiatives Working closely with technical and business stakeholders in a small, collaborative environment Remaining hands-on across design, build, troubleshooting, and optimisation What were looking for Strong, hands-on Azure data experience (this must be your core platform) Background in financial services, investments, wealth, superannuation, or fintech Experience working with complex, high-volume financial data Solid experience with: Azure (Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory, ADLS) SQL and Python Data modelling, ETL, and lakehouse architectures An architect who is still on the tools , not someone removed from delivery Comfortable operating autonomously in a lean, fast-moving environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
