About the role As part of the Product Originations Team you will be responsible for the identification, development and implementation of software solutions to support the business. Utilising defined Development Frameworks, you will work in the areas of analysis, design and development of internal applications. The team is responsible for how technology interacts with and impacts our customers and staff. We provide insight and expertise to our colleagues in ''Technology & Transformation and across the organisation. This role is offered as a 12 month Fixed Term Contract with potential to extend or permanency, Typical Responsibilities will include: Design and develop secure, reliable software solutions Translate requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders Support planning, estimation, and delivery of projects on time Build and maintain integrations with internal and third-party systems Identify and resolve performance and technical issues Develop, test, review, and maintain applications following SDLC standards Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, source control, and configuration management Maintain documentation and provide application support and troubleshooting Identify risks and recommend mitigation actions Promote a safe, compliant, and collaborative working environment About you: You are highly adept in collaborating with your team and technology representatives to bring out the best in the internally developed applications. You will be intimately familiar with what the applications can do and deliver business value by automating complex processes and ensuring the applications are clean and efficient. You are the go to expert for the internally developed applications from both a functionality and technical perspective. Knowledge and Experience: Extensive hands on experience as a Software Engineer or .NET Developer Strong C# and .NET/.NET Core server-side development skills Experience with modern front-end frameworks ( preferred) Familiar with DevOps practices, especially Azure DevOps and CI/CD Solid understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle Experience designing and building RESTful APIs Strong SQL Server and relational database design skills Experience developing and maintaining enterprise applicationsAbility to integrate systems across multiple technologies Why youll love working with us: People First Bank our new brand says exactly what were all about: people.
