McNally currently has a pipeline of mining camp projects throughout WA''s Pilbara and Goldfields and we are seeking an experienced full time Welder to join the team. We are looking for a highly driven individual that can adapt to a changing environment and can excel in a fast-paced work atmosphere. The successful candidate will be working on mine sites installing accommodation villages, and in our manufacturing yard in Henderson. You must be willing to work a minimum hr day on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth and be committed to our safety standards and company values. Responsibilities include:Weld and fabricate metal parts using suitable welding techniques as well as bolts and rivetsMeasure, mark, and cut metal pieces using hand tools, power tools, and heat-based cutting methodsRead and follow drawings and technical plans to understand how metal components are made and assembledSelecting the right metal materials and prepare them by cleaning and treating surfaces before fabricationBend, shape, and form metal and pipes using hand tools, machines, and controlled heatPosition and line up metal components accurately before joiningCheck welds to make sure they are strong, neat, and meet size and quality requirementsFinish metal components by grinding, smoothing, and applying surface treatments when neededClean and refine welds to achieve strength and a clean final appearanceFollow all workplace safety rules and site requirementsWork effectively as part of a teamAssist with other site-related tasks when required, while mainly carrying out welding duties Essential Requirements:AQF Certificate III or nationally recognised equivalent including at least 2 years of on-the-job training ORAQF Certificate IV or nationally recognised equivalentWhite CardNational Police Clearance (issued within the last 4 weeks)Minimum 3 years'' experience in a similar roleAbility to meet the physical and operation requirements of FIFO site-based workAbility to pass a pre-employment medical, including preliminary and onsite drug and alcohol testing McNally Mining & Resources is committed to attracting and developing the right people who back and strive towards the company''s vision.
