Senior Director - Community Corrections Programs Executive Contract Officer 1 - Remuneration Package $226,322 Community Corrections Darwin, Northern Territory Fixed for up to 4 years Community Corrections have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Director Community Corrections Programs in our Darwin Head Office, based in the CBD. The Department of Corrections performs an essential role in our community and the criminal justice system. Our work is complex, often under difficult circumstances, but the job is extremely rewarding. Community Corrections services the entire Northern Territory with regional offices in Darwin, Alice Springs, Katherine and Tennant Creek with smaller offices located in Nhulunbuy, Groote Eylandt and Wadeye. Reaching out to almost 80 communities. As the Senior Director Community Corrections Programs, you will provide executive leadership, advice and planning across the spectrum of Community Corrections, with a focus on strategic, whole of agency policy and direction and ensuring the provision of best practice services, holistic case management and enhancing community safety across the NT. What you need to be successful in the role - Demonstrated experience of leading a high performing service delivery function in a community corrections or other relevant environment. High level communication, including the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of staff, clients and stakeholders from varied cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Highly developed analytical skills and demonstrated ability to develop, deliver, and implement contemporary human service delivery models. Demonstrated experience managing grants, contracts and projects. Ability to exercise sound judgement, understand the broader operating environment, and deal appropriately with matters of a highly sensitive, risky, and confidential nature.
