Full-time position for the right candidate. Salary between $80k$90k plus superannuation. An outstanding opportunity awaits you! We are looking for fulltime Boilermakers / Welders (First class). We are looking for skilled Boilermakers and Welders from local and international. We are interested in local placements as well as people who need sponsorship for Subclass482 Visas. About you We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator / Welder (First class) with a strong work ethic who takes pride in their work and can work alongside an established team. To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following: Qualified as a BoilermakerWelder / Metal Fabricator / Pressure Welder / Welder (First class) through an apprenticeship or equivalent. AQF Certificate III including at least two years of experience or At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications. Job responsibilities Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements. Select, clean, and prepare metal stock. Cut markedout metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines. Shape and bend metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering. Align parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments. Clean and smooth welds by filing, chiselling, and grinding. Assemble, weld, and repair pressure vessels and pipes. Able to work efficiently on your own or within a team environment.
