Overview Assistant Director Marist Centre (Diverse Learning) Maternity Leave Cover 3 Terms Location: Cardijn College Marian Campus, Noarlunga Downs Full Time Teaching POR 2. 0.8 Teaching with 0.2 Release Cardijn College is a leading R-12 co-educational Catholic school established in 1984, deeply connected to the Marist tradition and inspired by the dual charisms of our patrons, Cardinal Joseph Cardijn and St. Marcellin Champagnat. About The Role The Assistant Director of Marist Centre works closely with the Director of Marist Centre and leads a dedicated team supporting students with diverse learning needs. This includes curriculum adaptation, case management, staff guidance, and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning in alignment with the Australian Curriculum and Modified SACE. Responsibilities Leadership of the Marist Centre team, fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Case management, including Personalised Plans for Learning, NCCD documentation, behaviour support planning, and collaboration with families and external professionals. Curriculum leadership, supporting modified curriculum delivery, life skills programs, functional literacy/numeracy, and Diverse Learning pedagogies. Operational responsibilities, including supporting camps/excursions, staff supervision, resource management, and participation in enrolment processes. About You We are seeking a leader who demonstrates: Current SA Teacher Registration and relevant teaching experience. Commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and the mission of Cardijn College. Strong knowledge and experience in Diverse Learning, modified curriculum, and supporting students with disabilities. Proven ability to lead, inspire and build positive relationships with students, staff, and families. High-level organisational, communication, and case-management skills. Capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining professionalism and empathy. Specific Requirements You will require (or be willing to obtain): Working With Children Check & relevant Catholic clearances RRHAN-EC certification First Aid certification Accreditation (or working towards accreditation) in Catholic Education SA Why Join Cardijn College?
