The opportunity The Residential Manager will lead all operational, governance and compliance functions within a 180bed residential aged care home, ensuring highquality care and service delivery. The Fraser Coast, Maryborough site is one of QLDs largest aged care landscapes which presents a robust team of leaders inclusive of a Deputy Residential Manager, 3 Clinical Managers, 2 Clinical Care Coordinators, a Quality Coordinator. You will also be supported by QLDs own Clinical Nurse Educator and Quality Manager. Reporting to the regional General Manager Operations, the Residential Manager will: Drive a highperforming team culture focused on safety, respect, and continuous improvement Oversee financial performance, workforce planning, and accreditation readiness Provide exemplary customer experience to residents, families, and community engagement Promote service and operational excellence and ensure adherence to Quality and Safety Standards About you You are an experienced leader in aged care or a comparable complex service environment, with: Minimum 2 years in a senior role managing large to extralarge homes Strong business acumen and experience with budgets, KPIs, and reporting Proven ability to lead a large team, inclusive of managers, and foster engagement during change Sound understanding of Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards and a relationship with the Aged Care Commission Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills Degree in health or business; RN registration and commissioning experience highly regarded Whats on Offer This is a national search, for a highly experienced Clinical Manager, who is handson and accomplished in mitigating risk.
