OverviewWe have an exciting casual opportunity available for an enthusiastic Catering and Housekeeping Assistant to join our friendly team. In this support role, you will help maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and service throughout the hospital and assist with catering tasks in the kitchen. You will follow infection control and safety procedures to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve nutritious meals to patients.Assist with basic food preparation, cleaning, and general kitchen duties.Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.Maintain cleanliness across patient rooms, theatres, and public areas.Contribute to the overall presentation and comfort of the facility.Your Skills And ExperienceYou are a reliable, positive, and customer-focused team member who takes pride in their work and contributes to a supportive team culture.Will require one weekend worked per fortnightMust be available for both morning shift and afternoon shiftExcellent time management and organisational skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanlinessPrevious cleaning experience (hospital or healthcare setting preferred but not essential)Proven customer service and teamwork skillsFlexibility to work across a 14-day roster with a range of shifts availableAbout UsThe hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with over 70 Australian sites employing over 34,000 people.
