Your role at St John of God BendigoWe are currently seeking a driven and enthusiasticOccupational Therapist(Grade 1 or 2) to join our Allied Health team providing care across medical, surgical, and inpatient rehabilitation and andoutpatient rehabilitation wards. You''ll work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality occupational therapy services in line with professional and organisational standards.Grade 2 therapists will demonstrate advanced clinical skills, work independently, and contribute to mentoring, education, and quality initiatives.Our areas of focus include inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, orthopaedics, surgical, general medicine, and ICU. Shifts are Monday to Friday. There may be occasional weekend shifts.Qualified recent graduates are encouraged to submit their applications.The PositionCompletion of comprehensive patient assessment (e.g. assessment of personal care, domestic and community ADLs, assessment of the home environment, cognitive and functional physical assessment as required).Provision of a comprehensive treatment intervention and appropriate progression treatment to match functional goals to manage complex patients.In conjunction with the Supervisor/Manager and other Occupational Therapy caregivers, develop processes for the evaluation of both inpatient and outpatient Occupational Therapy programs.Patients/clients plans and outcomes are regularly monitored through attendance at and participation in multi-disciplinary team meetings.Completion of comprehensive patient assessment (e.g. assessment of personal care, domestic and community ADLs, assessment of the home environment, cognitive and functional physical assessment as required).Provision of a comprehensive treatment intervention and appropriate progression treatment to match functional goals to manage complex patients.In conjunction with the Supervisor/Manager and other Occupational Therapy caregivers, develop processes for the evaluation of both inpatient and outpatient Occupational Therapy programs.Patients/clients plans and outcomes are regularly monitored through attendance at and participation in multi-disciplinary team meetings.Strive for high satisfaction levels of patients/clients and external agencies.Responsible for completing appropriate administrative duties.
