Our farming operations include the production of wheat, canola, lupins, hay, and barley.We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Agricultural and Horticultural Mobile Plant Operator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of farming and machinery operations, including but not limited to:Spraying crops during seeding and growing seasonsPreparing and positioning agricultural plant and machinery for operationSeeding operations, including operating tractor-drawn equipment and filling seedersPloughing land and sowing, fertilising, cultivating, and harvesting cropsAdjusting speed, depth, and height of implements to suit operational requirementsOperating headers during harvest productionTruck driving duties as requiredFencing and general farm maintenanceTree felling when necessaryAssisting with minor mechanical repairs and routine servicing of plant and equipmentMaintaining logbooks, tallies, and operational reportsAssisting and training new and casual staff as requiredSkills, Experience and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:Minimum 2 years'' proven experience as an Agricultural Mobile Plant OperatorStrong practical knowledge of agricultural machinery and farm operationsAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishWillingness to work flexible hours and shifts, including weekends and peak farming periodsCurrent Truck Driving LicenceWhite Card (Construction Induction)Certification or experience in:Working at HeightsWorking with ChemicalsHow to ApplyIf you meet the above criteria and are interested in joining a growing agricultural business, please submit your up-to-date resume outlining your relevant experience.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $70,000.00 $95,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
