About the BusinessCastletown Bakers Delight is a well-established retail bakery producing a wide range of freshly baked artisan breads and bakery products daily. We pride ourselves on traditional baking methods, quality ingredients and consistent customer service.We are seeking a qualified and experienced Baker to join our production team on a full-time basis.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesPreparing, mixing and baking doughs and batters for breads, rolls and bakery products from scratchMeasuring, weighing and mixing ingredients according to established recipes and production schedulesOperating commercial baking equipment including mixers, ovens, provers and bench equipmentHand-shaping, moulding, proving and finishing bakery productsMonitoring baking times and temperatures to ensure product consistency and qualityDecorating and finishing baked products where requiredEnsuring food safety, hygiene and WHS standards are maintained at all timesManaging daily production schedules to meet retail demandMinimising waste and maintaining stock control of baking ingredientsCleaning and maintaining bakery equipment and work areasSkills & Experience RequiredRelevant qualification in Baking or Patisserie (Certificate III or equivalent) or Minimum 3 years of relevant full-time baking experienceStrong knowledge of dough fermentation, bread production and baking processesAbility to work early morning shifts and in a fast-paced production environmentHigh attention to detail and consistencyUnderstanding of food safety and hygiene standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEmployment ConditionsFull-time position (minimum 38 hours per week)Rostered shifts including early mornings, weekends and public holidays as requiredOngoing employment subject to performance and business requirementsBenefitsWhy Join Castletown Bakers DelightStable long-term employmentSupportive and professional work environmentOpportunity to work with a reputable bakery brandCompetitive salary aligned with market and migration requirementsHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume detailing your baking experience and qualifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
