This role supports infection control protocols, prepares treatment rooms, manages patient records, and delivers a positive patient experience. The Dental Assistant also provides culturally safe and responsive care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, ensuring their health needs are met in a respectful and inclusive manner.DutiesAssist dentists during procedures, pass instruments, and prepare materials.Maintain sterilisation of instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.Support patients before, during, and after procedures; provide posttreatment instructions.Provide culturally safe and respectful care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.Monitor and maintain supplies (inventory), ensuring the treatment room is clean and ready.Update patient records and assist with appointment scheduling.CultureEnjoy working in an organisation that makes a difference in the community.
