OverviewFull-time, permanent positionBand 4 Salary circa $85K, plus 12% SuperannuationFortnightly RDOBased in Doncaster East, VictoriaManningham City Council are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to conduct high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles, plant and equipment. And together, we''ll balance what''s important to you and your lifestyle.Key Duties:Perform safe, effective and efficient mechanical repairs, servicing and maintenance.Diagnose faults across a wide range of vehicles, plant and equipment.Assist with fabrication and minor welding repairs.Conduct daily pre-start checks and report issues promptly.Maintain detailed records of each job including all parts and materials.Use workshop systems to complete work orders, timesheets and parts bookings.Maintain workshop equipment and uphold strong safety standardsBuild positive relationships with drivers, operators and internal customers.About youYou''re a trade-qualified mechanic with experience across light and heavy vehicles, and ideally agricultural or construction equipment.
