This position is responsible for attending to maintenance issues arising from unforeseen circumstances or unplanned works within the greenspace network. The role requires a strong commitment to working collaboratively within a team environment, along with the flexibility to accommodate variable working hours.Qualifications and experienceEssential:Class MR Drivers LicenceExtensive experience in maintenance of Open Space areas including sports fields, parks, reserves, gardens.Desirable:RTA approved traffic controller implementation accreditationRelevant qualificationsChainsaw operation certificate of competenceRTA approved traffic controller accreditation.Remuneration and benefitsThe salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council''s Enterprise Agreement.Entry level for this position starts at $1,197.30 per week38-hour working weekRostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnightEmployee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 12% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.Our commitment to safetyBlacktown City Council is committed to safety.
