OverviewTemporary part time, 12 months, 3 days per weekFrom $88,648.96 to $95,959.75 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuationGenerous professional developmentAbout usCampbelltown City Council''s Public Art program is led by Campbelltown Arts Centre,positioning artists at the forefront of reimagining Campbelltown and extending our contemporary artistic program across the City and in the places least expected.You are encouraged to apply if you can see yourself contributing to shaping the future of Campbelltown City and enjoy being part of a visionary team.About the roleCampbelltown Arts Centre is seeking a Public Art Project Support Officer to assist in the development and delivery of our dynamic Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Public Art Program.This role will work in close collaboration with artists, the Creative Producer, Public Art and various sections of Council to realise the artists'' vision and see projects from concept through to completion.The successful candidate willUndertake administration, research, correspondence, production and technical tasks.Develop project briefs and agreements for Artists and creative personnel.Support the maintenance of project related budgets, including sourcing quotes, processing payments, purchasing equipment and materials.Support community engagement activities, documentation, workshops, events and activations.Support artist/s and project related contractor correspondence and meetings, including preparation of communications, scheduling and minuting of meetings.Supporting the development of Public Art maintenance plans, schedules and budgets.Work with marketing and communications team to ensure documentation and promotion of the Public Art Project from start to finish, including documentation of site visits, fabrication, installation and finished artwork as well as drafting content for project announcements, creative learning, socials, web, media and signage.Assisting the Creative Producer, Public Art and the CCC Workplace Health & Safety Team in the development of Safe Work Method Statements, ensuring the highest priority of site safety and processes ensuring that all equipment is fit for purpose and all workers are suitably qualified, insured and have filled out the necessary permits.Work flexibly when required, this may include evening and weekends.Commitment to living our values of respect, integrity, teamwork, trust and optimism.
