Acira Consultancy Pty Ltd is seeking a compassionate and reliable Residential Care Officer to provide quality care and support to residents in a residential care setting. The successful candidate will assist residents with daily living activities while ensuring their safety, dignity, and wellbeing in accordance with individual care plans and organisational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingSupport residents with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aidsAssist with meals, feeding, and hydrationMonitor residents'' physical and emotional wellbeing and report changesAdminister or assist with medications as directed and in line with policiesMaintain accurate care records, progress notes, and documentationSupport residents'' social and recreational activitiesEnsure compliance with aged care standards, infection control, and WHS requirementsWork collaboratively with nurses, care staff, and allied health professionalsRespond to emergencies and follow incident reporting proceduresSkills and QualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience in residential aged care, disability care, or a similar roleRelevant qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or equivalent (preferred)Knowledge of Australian aged care quality standards and care practicesStrong interpersonal, communication, and empathy skillsAbility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidaysAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCurrent First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)National Police Check and other required clearancesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary package of $80,000 $100,000 per annumSupportive and professional work environmentOngoing training and career development opportunitiesStable, full-time employmentHow to ApplyInterested candidates should submit their resume outlining relevant experience and qualifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
