As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising the construction of various concrete structures projects.We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Civil Leading Hand with expertise in structures to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to Queensland''s infrastructure development.Key RequirementsExperience: The ideal candidate should have a strong background in civil construction, with a focus on structures such as bridges, walls, main roads, and concrete works.Queensland Roads Experience: Familiarity with Queensland roads standards, regulations, and best practices is essential.Leadership Skills: Proven experience in a leadership role, guiding and supervising teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical plans related to civil structures.Safety Focus: Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.ResponsibilitiesProject Supervision: Oversee the construction of civil structures, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and timelines.Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards in construction, ensuring that all structures meet the prescribed technical and safety requirements.Team Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to construction teams, motivating them to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively.Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, progress updates, and safety documentation.Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.This opportunity would be suitable for an experienced foreman/supervisor or a leading hand that is looking to take the next step in their career.
