The roleThe Landscape Specification Business Development Manager is a permanent, full-time role responsible for driving the specification, acceptance and conversion of Adbri Masonry''s landscaping solutions across South East Queensland.Partnering closely with Sales, Contracting Services, Technical, Operations and Marketing teams, you will work directly with landscape architects, civil designers, councils, developers and contractors to influence project documentation and convert specifications into successful project outcomes.This role is based in Stapylton, QLD and will require regular travel across South East Queensland.ResponsibilitiesProactively identify, qualify and secure landscape projects for Adbri Masonry product specification across public realm, subdivisions, parks, streetscapes and recreational facilitiesInfluence drawings, schedules and technical documentation to include Adbri Masonry paving, retaining wall and concrete masonry solutionsProvide technical guidance on product selection, performance characteristics, installation requirements and compliance standardsPromote Adbri''s permeable paving solutions within WSUD strategies for councils and designersChampion Adbri''s sustainability credentials, including lower-carbon masonry solutions, EPDs and Net Zero initiativesPartner with Sales and Contracting Services teams to convert specifications into orders, supply and installation outcomesDeliver CPD sessions, design reviews, site demonstrations and factory visits to key stakeholdersTrack specification pipelines, conversion activity, competitor insights and market trends using CRM systemsWhat you will need to succeedProven experience influencing design teams, councils or project stakeholders within construction, landscaping or building materialsStrong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications and compliance documentationCommercial mindset with a clear understanding of how specification drives conversion and revenueConfident communicator capable of presenting technical and sustainability solutions to varied audiencesStrong relationship-building skills with architects, councils, contractors and distributorsHigh level of self-motivation, resilience and adaptability in a project-driven environmentQualifications in Landscape Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline (desirable)Current driver''s licence and willingness to travel across SEQBenefits of working with usPermanent, full-time role with autonomy and strong stakeholder engagementOpportunity to work on high-profile landscape and infrastructure projects across SEQExposure to sustainable, innovative masonry solutions backed by local manufacturingCareer development opportunities within a national business backed by CRH''s global networkInclusive, collaborative and safety-focused workplace cultureOur businessAdbri is an Australian construction materials and industrial minerals manufacturer that has been building a better Australia since 1882.
