You will contribute to research development, implementation, analysis and communication, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and international collaborators.You will also:Develop and execute research protocols and contribute to ethics submissionsConduct systematic reviews and other knowledge synthesis activitiesContribute to grant applications and peer-reviewed publicationsSupport coordination of research projects, including collaboration within country and international partnersPrepare high-quality scientific reports, manuscripts, presentations and evidence briefsPlease refer to the attached position description for full details. This is a 12-month fixed-term position. We are open to candidates seeking part-time and full-time option (0.8 - 1.0 FTE). Hybrid working arrangement is available.Let''s talk about youThe following criteria are essential requirements:A postgraduate qualification (Honours, Masters or PhD) in public health, epidemiology, global health, biostatistics or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience in maternal, newborn or perinatal health researchExperience conducting systematic reviews, literature searches and evidence synthesisStrong scientific writing skills, including experience contributing to reports, manuscripts or publicationsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work respectfully and effectively with multidisciplinary and international teamsThe following are desirable but not essential:Experience supporting ethics applications and grant submissionsExperience working in global health or low- and middle-income country research settingsExperience contributing to academic supervision or mentoring of studentsThe Burnet experience...We want you to have a successful and meaningful career at Burnet and are committed to providing a supportive workplace environment for all our people.
