Latrobe Regional Health is looking for a Senior Pharmacist (General Medicine) to join our growing team on a full time (1.0 EFT) ongoing basis.The RoleThe Senior Pharmacist role is to lead and coordinate clinical pharmacy services within our General Medicine unit. This pivotal role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective use of medicines, improves patient outcomes through specialist clinical support, and contributes to research and service development. You will supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, drive compliance with hospital procedures, and actively participate in strategic planning for pharmacy services.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage day-to-day clinical pharmacy services for General Medicine.Provide expert clinical pharmacy support, including medication reviews and multidisciplinary team participation.Ensure compliance with hospital and pharmacy policies, including formulary and medication guidelines.Mentor, train, and manage pharmacy staff, interns, and students within your area of responsibility.Contribute to practice-based research, audits, and service development initiatives.Support strategic planning and implementation of innovative pharmacy practices to improve medication use.About YouIdeal candidates for this role will have:Current pharmacist registration with AHPRA (no restrictions).Significant clinical experience in generalist or specialist environments.Strong leadership, mentoring, and team collaboration skills.Commitment to patient care, continuous education, and professional development.BenefitsSalary packaging up to $9,000 per annum.Meals/Entertainment benefit up to $2,650 per annum.Encouragement for professional development and ongoing education.A range of social club activities, discounts and diverse workplace activities.Free access to our Staff Wellbeing Centre offering health education and wellbeing.Access to discounted gym membership and fitness services through Fitness Passport Services.How to ApplyInterested in this exciting opportunity?
