The Lead Satellite Cardiac Sonographer (Specialist Cardiac Physiologist) role delivers echocardiography services across metro and regional NSW (and ACT) in a range of clinical settings and provides quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular services including community outpatient and inpatient transthoracic echocardiography, exercise stress echocardiography, dobutamine stress echocardiography, and assisting with transoesophageal echocardiography.Primary responsibility is day-to-day delivery of quality echocardiography services; there is also a business development component. You will work with the NSW Clinical Services Manager and National Non-Invasive Testing team to help grow non-invasive testing services across NSW and raise the profile of Advara HeartCare by developing and maintaining key industry and regional satellite relationships.ResponsibilitiesOperate cardiac ultrasound and testing equipment to obtain optimal images and support medical and process requests for cardiac procedures.Ensure accurate patient identification and history and deliver high-quality patient care and customer relationships with referrers, addressing their needs promptly and explaining procedures clearly to Cardiologists and staff.Uphold quality standards, safety and compliance; foster productive and effective working relationships with Satellite partners.Identify business opportunities within NSW, including mobile services, and help grow and deliver services where there is demand.Raise the profile of Advara HeartCare by developing and maintaining key industry and regional satellite relationships.QualificationsYou have a postgraduate qualification in the field of cardiac ultrasound.A current registration with Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).Sound clinical skills in echocardiography; excellent interpersonal and patient care skills with a friendly and professional approach.Committed to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of developments in cardiac ultrasound.Australian Driver''s Licence and ability to work across Sydney and greater NSW.Collaboration mindset: willing to expand skills, share knowledge, and contribute to the company and people at Advara HeartCare.How we workAdvara HeartCare is a values-driven organisation where every person matters.
