FCJ has a welcoming and vibrant Catholic learning community, steeped in a rich history of serving the Benalla and surrounding region for over 124 years.Full-time employment:12-month full-time traineeship with salaryFully funded qualification:Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics and RecreationGain real-world experience:Hands-on experience in a school environmentSupportive workplace:Guidance from senior staff and supervisorsEmployment support: Dedicated Employment Coach and Mentor for First Nations candidatesThe Role on OfferIn this role, you will:Prepare and maintain sporting equipment and team uniforms, including minor repairsAssist teachers with supervision during camps, after-school sports, carnivals and OED programsSupport the setup, pack-down and operation of sporting events and school programsAssist with team sports, including coaching support, umpiring, running, water carrying and team managementMaintain sport, PE and OED storerooms and equipment registersProvide administrative and operational support for school eventsAssist office and maintenance staff during term breaks as requiredUndertake other duties as directed by the Principal or Business ManagerWhat We''re Looking ForWe are seeking a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individual with an interest in sport, recreation and supporting young people.You''ll Bring:A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work independently and in a teamStrong communication and organisational skillsA commitment to student wellbeing and promoting a positive school environmentA driver''s licence (required for work across both campuses)No prior experience in a school or sports setting is required training and support will be provided.You will actively support the ethos and values of FJC, demonstrating enthusiasm, reliability and a willingness to assist others.
