For more than 60 years our dynamic family owned and operated company has remained at the forefront of stainless-steel manufacture and design, providing complete engineering solutions to customers around Australia, and internationally.Having recently commissioned our brand-new Machine Shop in Griffith NSW, A&G are seeking a qualified Machinist to join our growing team.You will be working with high end CNC and manual lathes, in a comfortable, clean and fast paced environment, making parts for award winning food processing equipment that is shipped around the world.To be successful on this position, you will be energetic and goal oriented, and possesses the following skills/qualifications:QualificationsTrade qualified (4th year apprenticeship in Mechanical trade) will be consideredTeam oriented, with excellent communication and organisational skillsProficient in the use of Manual Lathes, Drills & Milling Machines.Preferred hands-on experience operating and programming CNC machinesAbility to understand CAD drawings, including the selection of raw materials together with effective and efficient production methods to maximize the quality of final products.Ability to adhere to stringent Quality Assurance guidelinesAbility to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high-quality standard.Must have working rights in Australia. (No sponsorship available)Class C Drivers LicenceHigh Risk licence such as forkliftConstruction Induction white cardCompetitive rates will be negotiated with the successful candidate, in line with experience and expertise.
