We transform mountains of rubble into high-grade civil construction materials, recovering these precious resources and dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of major projects.Alex Fraser Group has an opportunity for an experienced and committed Laboratory Technician Material Testing to join our team based at our Epping Recycling Facility. This is a hands-on role ensuring data and analysis results are in accordance with our company policies.ResponsibilitiesConduct specialist testing of construction samples and recording/reporting test results.Maintain test equipment as per OHS/WHS standards and legislation.Provide high level data analysis and reporting on compliant and non-compliant results.Ensure all plant equipment is maintained at a high standard and operated with Zero Harm philosophy.This Role Is a Great Fit If YouHave a strong knowledge and understanding of modern Lab Instrumentation.Hold extensive knowledge across construction material sampling testing methods and processes.Have experience with concrete/Asphalt operations and technology (highly regarded).Current Driver''s License.Hold a professional work ethic with a customer service-oriented attitude.Are results focused, self motivated and take pride in your work.Have experience with a civil or building industry (highly regarded).Possess a positive and high regard for safety policies and procedures.Have strong attention to detail and strong housekeeping standards.What We OfferFrom $33.75 per hour, pending experience/qualifications, plus penalties, plus super.Daily allowance of $32.27 per day.Overtime on offer pending the current business cycle.This is a Monday Friday role, generally 6am 4pm, with rostered half day Saturdays.Ongoing career and development opportunities.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading industry employer and become an integral member of their high performing team.
