This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a well credentialled and supportive Finance Director a of an iconic ASX listed business.The RoleReporting directly to a high performing and supportive Finance Director, you will be an integral member of a high performing finance team. With a broad mandate, you will be responsible for all accounting and FP&A functions within the largest division of the group.Key responsibilities will include, but will not be restricted too:Oversee day-to-day operations of the finance team, including delivery and oversight of month end close, accounting and AP and ARPreparation of month end reporting with variance analysis and associated commentariesPreparation of the annual budget and reforecasting requirements including cash flow and balance sheetSupport the external audit process by maintaining supporting documentation and explanations as neededAssist with cash management and monitoring cash flow including weekly cash flow reportingGeneral compliance preparation of other compliance related mattersProvide necessary financial support and guidance to internal stakeholders to assist with effective operational and commercial decision-makingSupport Group Finance as required in the year-end and half-year ASX financial reporting and audit processes including investor presentationsSupport Group Finance as required in the delivery of month end (Group CFO Packs) and Planning (Budgets and Quarterly Reforecasts)Ad hoc projects, financial support on new initiatives and process improvementsThe SuccessfulCandidateCA qualified you will be an ambitious and experienced finance leader with a mix of technical accounting and FP&A skills. Ideally you will have commenced your career in either the Big 4 or a highly regarded mid-tier firm. You may have recently returned home from working abroad or may have recently finished up a contract or permanent role at the Finance Manager level. Candidates with a 4 week notice period are still encouraged to apply, however being able to commence at short notice would be an advantage. You will have previous experience in managing a small team and will enjoy developing and mentoring juniors.
