We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and reliable MR Driver. In this role, you will deliver large building materials and items to various sites over the Newcastle, Hunter and Lake Macquarie regions. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and friendly service.This truck is a 9speed manual. You must have a manual MR licence and be comfortable and ideally experienced operating a heavyduty single drive synchro, 4 high and 4 low speed.You will learn how to safely operate a hiab crane and will have the owner accompany and train you.Hours of work will vary however roughly rostered from a 6am start and the shift will generally finish after lunchtime. There may be longer hours required at times for prebooked jobs. There will be some consistency in days throughout February.Casual hourly pay rate: $36phKey ResponsibilitiesLoading and delivering items to various sites on a planned route.Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure paperwork is accurate and correct.Driving and ensure product is safely transported.Follow company policies and guidelines, as well as traffic and safety regulations.Skills & ExperienceMUST have a MR LicenceMUST have at least 5 years experience drivingMUST be physically fitMUST bring a driving record at interviewReliable, hardworking and punctualSolid communication and interpersonal skillsCan work well as an individual and within a teamMust have 2 contactable references from past employersASAP STARTThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work with a great team and who is happy with casual hours and days.
