Job Description

OverviewCapable and experienced trade assistant required for work with a traffic signals team based from a depot at Waratah, NSW. To be suitable for this role, applicants should have recent experience in the field of civil works labouring. Knowledge and experience with the construction and maintenance of traffic signals and/or ITS assets would be a distinct advantage. Applicants will need to hold a current unrestricted driver licence of at least MR or above, with recent truck driving experience.Whilst most of this work will be undertaken in the local region, there may be an occasional requirement to travel/camp away for up to a week at a time. Accommodation costs will be covered and applicable allowances paid.You will carry out a variety of routine and repetitive physical tasks using hand and power tools working both as an individual as well as part of a team.This role will involve working full time hours of work (76 hours/fortnight), initially for a period of up to 6 months, with potential for further work beyond this time.
