With over 40 years'' experience, our ''never give up'' approach ensures the needs of the people we care for are our first priority.About The RoleThe Family Time Worker role is a casual role which requires flexibility in when you are able to work; however, being able to work on weekends is a must. The right applicant may also have the opportunity to complete Youth and Disability Support Worker shifts where appropriate. When an individual has been removed from the family home by Community Services due to concerns about health and well-being, participation in supervised family time allows the children and young people to remain connected to each other in fun and meaningful ways. The Family Time Worker is the adult responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the individual during the supervised family time, and provides accurate and objective supervision reports centred around the six dimensions of quality care.Your Tasks Can IncludeFacilitate family time visits between children and young people, and their family members in accordance with individual needs outlined in family time plans, identified in Community Services referrals and ongoing Case Conference reports.Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals during Family Time visits.Administer medication where necessary and as directed.Accurately and objectively report feedback via a written report after each visit.Maintain and ensure confidentiality.Ensure that children are not exposed to unnecessary or unapproved risks during family visits.Report to Allambi Care and Community Services all cases of suspected risk of harm to children.Your RewardsWe offer some serious professional benefits, ensuring you are well-prepared and conducting your role at the best practice level our clients deserve.During your Allambi Journey, you will benefit from:Start with completing a paid Induction program.Ongoing supportReceive all day, all hour on-call supportRates for this role commence at SCHADS Level2 Paypoint1.Want to find out more about the role and hear from some of our staff?Click here: YouTo be successful in the role you will need to meet the following Essential Criteria:Current Working with Children Check (for paid employment) can be obtained via NDIS Worker Check (can be obtained via First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; Course Code HLTAID011)National Police Check (this must be obtained via current driver''s licence (minimum of a P2)A vehicle that can transport upwards of 4 peopleComprehensive Car InsuranceCertificate of Completion: NDIS Worker Orientation Module (can be accessed via: to participate in pre-employment medical checksTwo professional referencesPlease note that all prospective staff will need to be willing to consent to their details being entered onto the Residential Care Worker Register before an offer of employment is made.
