You''ll report to the Operations Manager and work alongside motivated and energetic teammates. You''ll be responsible for leading a team of technicians to deliver planned and corrective maintenance activities across the Sydney Light Rail fleet. Day-to-day, you''ll work with a close-knit team, efficiently utilizing resources to achieve contractual targets set by the Depot Manager, Operations Manager, and Project Manager, among others. This role will be on a rotating roster, which includes morning shifts (6 am-2 pm), afternoon shifts (2 pm-10 pm), and night shifts (10 pm-6 am) across weekdays and weekends.ResponsibilitiesEnsuring that Occupational Health and Safety and quality procedures are developed, maintained, and adhered to at all timesOverseeing in-depth fault finding, servicing, and repair of the LRVs (Light Rail Vehicles)Training and mentoring your team to ensure they have the right tools, equipment, and competency required to perform the workLeading process improvements and new ways of working within the depotDriving efficiency within the team to improve availability and fleet performanceAll About YouWe value passion and attitude over experience.
