You''ll work alongside a highly capable team, contributing to projects that shape industries, support communities, and create lasting value for our clients.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Lead and manage day-to-day site construction activities, ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and Australian standards.Coordinate onsite resources including labour, plant, equipment, subcontractors, and materials to achieve safe, efficient, and timely project delivery.Maintain accurate site records, reporting, and documentation including daily construction reports, variations, delays, QA/QC, and management of change processes.Work collaboratively with Project Managers, Engineers, QAQC, and operational teams to plan works, manage procurement and logistics, and drive quality outcomes.Champion HSEQ performance by enforcing site safety systems, permits, lifting compliance, traffic management, security, and continuous improvement culture.Whether you''re leading on-site delivery or supporting strategic planning from head office, this is an opportunity to grow your career, enhance your expertise, and contribute to projects that make a real difference all within an organisation that''s serious about supporting your success.About youYou''re a proactive, collaborative, and safety focused professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys contributing to meaningful outcomes.Hazardous Area Electrician trade qualified (Cert IV Instrumentation highly regarded) with a current Driver''s Licence and a strong understanding of site permit systems and controls.Demonstrated experience in Greenfield Gas Compressor Station construction environments, managing crews and subcontractors with minimal supervision across metro and remote sites.Strong technical capability with the ability to interpret construction drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, layouts, schedules, ITPs and ITRs.Understanding of project commercial targets, scope variation criteria and project goals.Proven leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with experience working collaboratively with Project Engineers and QAQC teams to deliver successful project outcomes.Highly organised and safety-focused, with sound knowledge of plant and equipment operations, HSEQ legislation, and confidence using MS Project, Excel and PDF editing tools.At Altrad, Your Growth, Your Contribution, Our Commitment is more than a promise, it''s the way we work.
