This role includes timely response to cases, accurate documentation, and effective communication with healthcare professionals. To be considered for this position, you must be available to commence and attend induction for 4 weeks from **Monday 30 March 2026.****ABOUT THE ROLE**Working from Monday to Friday between 8am 8pm on 10hour shifts, Patient Transport Officers (PTOs) provide effective and efficient care and transport of nonemergency pre and posthospital patients. This roster pattern includes one weekend every three weeks.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Respond to all cases in a timely manner.* Provide appropriate patient assessment, care, and transport, in accordance with applicable regulations.* Complete Patient Care Records and other relevant documentation in an accurate manner* Provide effective patient handover to hospital staff/patient relatives.Please refer to the attached position description for a complete description of the key accountabilities.**ABOUT YOU**To be considered for this position you will have:* Certificate III in Non-Emergency Patient Transport or equivalent including (Qualified Ambulance Paramedic, Diploma of Emergency Health Care, Bachelor of Health Science, Paramedicine Degree)* Current Victorian driver license* Minimum 100 hours of on-road clinical experience completed within a two-year period* Demonstrated understanding of Scope of Practice/Clinical Practice Guidelines for the role you are applying forFor a detailed description of the position accountabilities and requirements, please refer to the attached position description.**WORKING AT AMBULANCE VICTORIA**As a valued member of AV you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work/life balance.
