You will have to join us to find out!Primary ResponsibilityAmericold is recruiting a Team Manager at our Acacia Ridge, Queensland site who is experienced in providing strong operational leadership to a team of frontline workers, whilst developing the team''s skill set and supporting other site leaders. You would manage and coordinate all processes and activities during the shift to deliver outstanding customer service.As the Team Manager, you will work a Tuesday Saturday roster on the morning Shift.What You''ll DoPlanning and controlling the KPI performance of a team, and managing all aspects of labourMaintaining compliance with health and safety and driving a safety cultureCoordinating and managing work with subcontractors and internal departmentsManaging employee performance and creating development pathwaysWhat Experience And Education You NeedIdeally, you are someone with exceptional attention to detail who prides themselves on meeting deadlines and maintaining high productivity.Minimum 3 years of proven operational management experience.Demonstrated experience in managing large teams.Knowledge of distribution operations.Strong people management skills.Cross-functional leadership with multiple teams.Experience in effective decision-making in a fast-moving business environment.What Could Set You ApartAbility to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Ability to communicate effectively with variety of individualsAbility to reason, negotiate, instruct, persuade, or speak with othersAbility to pay close attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills and judgment in communicating with staff.Physical Requirements & AbilitiesThe physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
